1. WHITE EXTERIORS 

In the past, white was the most popular farmhouse color because it was an easy choice that was readily available and made for an easy touch-up job. While white may be the most popular choice, not all farmhouses have to be traditional. As long as the color is not fussy (no bright colors here!) – a simple paint choice with a gray or neutral undertone will do the trick!

2. BOARD AND BATTEN

This type of vertical siding, with wide and thin alternating planks, gives any plan an authentic farmhouse look and is great for adding visual interest with character!
