Meet Joe & Dottie Pfaff!

Originally from the northeast, Joe and Dottie have each lived in many places across the United States, such as NJ, CT, CO, VA and finally Long Island, NY before the “big move” to North Carolina. They have been married for over 42 years and have two children, Danielle and Joseph. Joe and Dottie sought out a community that could let them embrace an active lifestyle, with a home that allowed them the freedom to enjoy all their community had to offer.  Dottie loves to read, work out, bicycle, play bridge, travel and play golf, while Joe is an avid tennis player and also enjoys pickleball, golf, guitar and bicycling with Dottie. 

When they first visited St. James Plantation, they fell in love with the The Towns neighborhood and all that it offered, such as the maintenance-free aspect, open floor plan, and of course, the pond views! They chose our popular Seagrass floor plan with a bonus room. St. James was the clear choice for them, due to the many amenities it offered, such as golf, tennis, pool, fitness, beach club, fine dining, community activities, clubs, marina, active lifestyle, and more! They shared, “We were seeking nicer winters and an affordable, active lifestyle to enjoy our senior years.”
